Swim/run brick

After working all night again, I swam 2400 meters in Lucky’s lake, followed by a fast pace (for me) 9 min miles for 5 miles. My good friend Willie Howard, who is a gifted runner set the pace. Thanks Willie for giving me a good kick in the butt. I followed my swim/run workout with a YMCA stretch.

At one point during the run I thought I was going to throw up. It was really hot, with no shade in sight. A good training run for Ironman Arizona.
