This was my longest run of my Ironman training and it really tested me. I was running in the heat peak of the day 84 degrees, due to attending a parent teacher conference. In addition, I was a little short on nutrition supplies. I needed at least 3 jels, but only had two.
I was a little disorganized because of the repair issues with my bike Zoey. I was growing concerned with having to ride with the aerobar arm pad loosening or perhaps even snapping off again. I was in the middle of trying to decide on
I wanted to do 18 to experience the wall, but was toasted after the 3 hours. Started cramping really bad and had to walk some the last mile. I need to make sure my nutrition is dialed in, before Ironman as I definitely don’t want any cramping issues.
I really only have this week and next week of my Endurance Nation (EN) training schedule left. After that it will be all logistics, checklists, phone calls
